Round 1 of the 2010 season gets kicked off with nearly 500 through the gate and over 200 entries!  Clear skies & cool temps to enjoy but several bogs turned this event into a survival run.

As of 4am 1/4/10 LACC/SERA participant Jason Reine from Walker, LA and his wife Susan are the proud parents of a new baby girl:

Raelan Burklie Reine - 6 pounds 7 ounces, both mom and baby are doing well.

FULL RESULTS
Sturges #7 got the holeshot then let Reed and Plunkett by during a failed attempt of the City Cycles Live Oak Ledge.  Sturges was one of only a few to attempt it.  Plunkett ran in 2nd for a while setting the 2nd fastest lap time behind Reed but eventually DNF'd due to clutch issues.  Reed wins the $200, Reine $100, and the randomly selected $100 went to Russ Wiggers in the Junior class!

Top 3 Overall: Reed 1st, Reine 2nd, and Sturges 3rd.
