A record crowd with 256 entry's showed up to race at Spring Creek MX in Kentwood, LA The weather was a little chilly and windy but overall it was a great weekend for starting the 2013 LACC series. I would like to give a big thanks to my family for helping us put on an successful Race and Mr. Kirk Lee (Land Owner) for allowing us to race on his amazing property.

The LACC Veterans came on strong for the first lap. Stephen Sturges came back from taking a year off of racing to taking the hole shot in XC1. With Kevin Hutchinson going into the lead after the first turn and Evan Shows making it to the front and leading most of the first lap. By the end of the first lap Forrest Smith had made his way into the lead with Michael Williams and Jason Harvey close behind. As the race went on the course got rough with lots of lines to pick from. Our top three switched positions during the whole race with Forrest having to make the pass on Michael on the last lap for the win with Harvey taking third.
