-with time-keeper Chad Earl.  Cliff will be graduating from college in May, is currently Open A leader / 14th overall in the National Enduro standings & plans to finish season.  He is also on track to possibly win the SERA Enduro and SERA Hare Scramble series.

 

Steve Nicholas (KTM) 17 edged out Carsten Cagle.  Steve rode an '07 KTM 250 XCW (graphics show 300 but cylinder swop'd)

AA Lucas Comeaux (KTM 300 XCW) crash/hurt ankle in first test section, rode sitting down to finish the day with a 24

AA's Frank Davis (Kaw), Jeff Parke (KTM), and Jeremy Ketchum (KTM) did not attend.
Lee Everett rode a Yamaha 450 MX bike at the LA National-didn't like it, rode a KTM 450 XC at this race & won the A 4-stroke class.

A Super Sr: Barry Bell, A Masters: Michael Armistead, B250: Clyde Lemons

Abnormal high score from AA Clay Stuckey (dropped 58)- like most Clay got lost in the fist section, then got back on course only to have a swinging log/tree (2 feet off ground) swing back at him from rider ahead, hit front wheel, deflected him into large pine going fast.  Pulled a groin muscle, bruised right thigh pretty badly, and broke transponder in half mounted on chest protector.  Took a while to get going then enjoyed his time riding with son Zach (got to pick him off ground too).
